Whether it’s news articles about Hunter Biden’s many questionable activities or social media posts warning about the side effects of COVID-19 vaccines, those in power do their best to silence those who dare to go against their interests – and now they appear to be quite openly setting their sights on “the Manosphere”.
Anyone who spends any amount of time online will be well aware of how unpopular it is to be a man these days. The woke crowd loves to talk badly about men, question their intentions, deride them when they earn a high income, and generally delight in seeing them fail. In recent years, men are falling behind in education and being passed over for jobs and promotions by employers who are worried about accusations of discrimination from women.
The response to this is often described as the Manosphere, a collective term for the various men’s rights groups, political commentators, influencers and men’s support communities online that push back against feminism and advocate for men’s rights in a world where discussions of men are often dominated by catchphrases such as “toxic masculinity.” For many of them, this movement is not, as commonly claimed, a way to express a hatred of women but instead helps them to process how modern society views them and connect with others who share their concerns.
It should come as no surprise that the left absolutely despises the idea of men pushing back against their woke ideals, and now, the Department of Homeland Security has even set its sights on the Manosphere by funding programs at universities that label the movement a terror threat.
That’s right: It’s not the countless illegal immigrants flooding into the country thanks to Biden’s open borders policies we need to be worried about; it’s men who want to protect men’s rights who are the real threat, according to the left. If you dare take issue with common feminist stances, you might just be a terrorist.
According to Zero Hedge, the DHS has been funding woke university programs throughout the nation since at least 2020, spending millions of dollars to incentivize various academic groups to disrupt the Manosphere movement, which the liberals in charge view as a threat to the woke movement that is keeping them in office.
Arizona State University’s McCain Institute has been connected to a program funded by the DHS that ties the Manosphere to racism, extremism and terrorism. The program, which ASU characterizes as “hate speech surveillance,” aims to “redirect” online traffic and social media consumers away from anything that is linked to the Manosphere, much like how social media platforms, at the behest of the Biden administration and Big Pharma, tried to redirect traffic from alternative media sources that dared to tell the truth toward the mainstream corporate news outlets that were willing to peddle their lies.
As part of the Targeted Violence and Terrorism Prevention program, the DHS gave more than $650,000 to a group of ASU students known as Diverting Hate who were studying “incels” – a term for young men who are unable to attract romantic partners. The idea here is that these young men will eventually become so frustrated by their romantic failures that they will end up becoming terrorists.
It is clear that linking men’s rights proponents to terrorism is just an excuse to censor their views and keep them from pushing back against the feminist notion that they are a threat to society. The ultimate goal – much like the real terror threat they’re ignoring, the border crisis – is to keep the left in power.
